Hey Builders, we're back!

What will you build when you can build anything? – How to Web Conference 2026

Eastern Europe’s leading startup and technology conference returns with the theme “What will you build when you can build anything?” and opens the conversation about the future of AI, Europe’s role in the new era of technology, and growth strategies for companies building global products.

How to Web Conference returns to Bucharest between October 6 and 8, 2026, with an edition built around one of the most important questions of the moment:

What will you build when you can build anything?

As artificial intelligence changes the speed, cost, and accessibility of building digital products, the difference between companies that grow and those that remain relevant will increasingly be defined by direction, clarity, and the quality of their decisions. Tools are becoming more accessible, teams can build products at a much faster pace, and technology companies are entering a stage where ambition must be matched by strategic thinking.

The 2026 edition marks a new chapter for the How to Web Conference, bringing to the stage conversations about the future of artificial intelligence, Europe’s role in the next technological wave, and how leaders, product teams, engineers, marketers, executives, founders, and investors can build globally relevant companies.

Among the first confirmed speakers are leaders and experts from companies such as OpenAI, Meta, Google, Showpad, and BCR, alongside investors and operators from some of Europe’s most active investment funds, including Atomico, Eurazeo, and Dawn Capital.

The lineup includes names such as Nesrine Changuel, product leader and Author of Product Delight; Teodora Musatoiu, Leading the Builder ADM Team at OpenAI; Raluca Ragab, Partner Growth at Eurazeo; Alexandre Dewez, Partner at 20VC; Dave Harland, Copywriter and Founder of Copy Or Die; Ondřej Bartoš, General Partner at Credo Ventures; Aleodor Tabarcea, Engineering Manager at Stripe; Karol Szubstarski, Partner at OTB Ventures; and Julius de Gruyter, Investor at Cherry Ventures.

Their presence reflects the direction of this year’s edition: from the way AI is changing how we build products and companies, to the role of European capital in supporting the next generation of global startups, and the importance of communication, differentiation, and clear thinking in an increasingly crowded market.

“How to Web Conference has always been the place where people building and using technology come to learn, connect, and accelerate their companies. We are living through a moment in which almost anything can be built faster than ever before, and the essential question becomes what is worth building, in which direction, and with what impact. We remain anchored in business reality through our close collaboration with BCR, Google Romania, Underline Ventures, and representatives from important business sectors, in order to understand who the successful leaders are and what best practices we can apply in our own businesses,” said Monica Zara, Head of Conference.

The conference will bring together more than 3,000 participants from over 40 countries, more than 500 startup founders, more than 250 investors from Europe and global ecosystems, more than 150 speakers, and over 50 events organized around the conference.

How to Web Conference 2026 agenda will be structured around three main stages: Build & Grow, dedicated to teams building, launching, and scaling products and companies; Startup, dedicated to founders, fundraising, and the venture ecosystem; and Focus, dedicated to hands-on sessions, specialized discussions, and formats that explore key topics in depth.

The conference experience will be complemented by three dedicated spaces: Broadcast Room, where interviews with industry leaders will take place; Business Room, which will host roundtables, workshops, and demos on relevant topics; and Media Room, dedicated to press activities and interviews with speakers, investors, and leaders attending the conference.

In addition to the stage content, How to Web Conference 2026 will include an extensive networking and business development experience, as well as opportunities for participating companies: 1:1 matchmaking, an expo area, demos, investor meetings, events dedicated to the venture capital community, and side events organized across the city.

For startups, the conference will continue to offer dedicated programs such as Spotlight, the competition that showcases some of the most promising startups in the region; Accelerate Fundraising & Sales, a program designed for founders who want to accelerate access to capital and customers; Demo Area, where these companies can present their products to attendees; and Dealflow, the platform connecting Eastern European startups with regional and international investors.

The 2026 edition begins on October 6 with a series of satellite events in Bucharest, including Investors Summit, the first event announced. On October 7, the conference opens at Face Convention Center, featuring the main stages, business areas, expo and networking spaces, while events organized across the city continue in parallel. On October 8, How to Web Conference concludes the three-day conference with new content sessions, meetings, and conversations dedicated to the future of technology.

This year, the conference is built in partnership with BCR, Google Romania, and Underline Ventures, with the support of PPC, Stripe, Credo Ventures, Cytowski & Partners, Inovo VC, and Portfolion.
