Radu Georgescu is a renowned Romanian serial entrepreneur and investor with over 30 years of experience founding and scaling companies in software, internet, and e-commerce sectors.
He is the founding partner of Gecad Ventures, a venture capital fund established in 1992 that invests in high-potential technology companies specializing in software, security, cloud technologies, e-commerce, fintech, and more.
He serves on the boards and advises numerous startups and mature technology companies. Notably, Radu is Chairman of Seedblink, an equity management and investment platform that started as Europe’s first crowd-investing platform in Central and Eastern Europe and has grown into a comprehensive equity ownership solution.
Radu is celebrated as Romanian Personality of the Year (2003) and was awarded the Order of the Star of Romania (Knight), Romania’s highest civilian honor, for his role in promoting Romanian IT globally.
