Mircea Vădan is a board member at ROStartup, the umbrella organization formed in 2024 that brings together Romania’s national startup ecosystem.
ROStartup supports startup ecosystem enablers by facilitating collaboration, strategic alignment, improved communication, and leveraging synergies to maximize collective impact.
Mircea is focused on the Romanian and Eastern European startup ecosystem, especially in acceleration programs, angel investments, and venture capital.
He is also the Managing Partner of Activize, a firm focused on fundraising support, scouting startups, and connecting investors with emerging innovation opportunities in Romania.
Mircea has a strong track record in supporting the startup ecosystem through mentorship, coaching, and ecosystem analysis, and he is actively involved in multiple startup support organizations including Transylvania Angels Network, FreshBlood HealthTech, and Spherik Accelerator.
His investment portfolio spans 16 startups, and he continues to contribute to ecosystem-building efforts at events, hackathons, and startup competitions.
