Marta Fernández Bernabeu is an experienced EU Project Manager at Sploro, where she specializes in managing, drafting, and promoting projects funded by the European Commission, with a primary focus on Horizon Europe initiatives.
Currently, she is actively involved in key projects such as NGI Sargasso and FOODITY, ensuring their successful execution and adherence to established objectives. Additionally, Marta coordinates the EmpoWomen project, a European initiative aimed at empowering women-led startups in deep tech through funding, mentorship, and accelerator programs.
Graduated in International Relations with a master’s degree in Human Rights, Democracy, and International Justice, Marta is deeply committed to defending the rights of marginalized and vulnerable groups worldwide. Her core interests span human rights and women’s rights, transitional justice, refugee issues, the European Union, and geopolitics.
She is dedicated to leveraging European funding and innovation programs to create inclusive opportunities and foster social impact.
Marta also oversees the management and accessibility of the platform used for managing calls for proposals, ensuring smooth and equitable participation for all stakeholders involved.
Marta will bring her expertise in EU project management and her commitment to gender inclusion in tech innovation, sharing insights on supporting women entrepreneurs, navigating European funding landscapes, and driving transformative initiatives in the deep tech sector.
