Jakub Krikava is an investor at Credo Ventures, a prominent early-stage venture capital firm focused on Central and Eastern Europe. With a keen interest in technology and innovative solutions, Jakub specializes in pre-seed and seed investments, supporting startups that push the boundaries and create meaningful impact.
Before joining Credo Ventures in 2022, Jakub worked as a Tech Advisor to the Czech Deputy Minister of Defence, where he designed policy programs aimed at fostering emerging technologies critical for national security. He also conducted public policy research and consulting, reflecting his passion for leveraging technology as a driver of progress.
Jakub holds a Bachelor’s degree from King’s College London and a Master’s from Imperial College London. He balances a strong technical curiosity with a focus on coherence and clarity, enjoying the process of untangling and categorizing complexity.
Outside of work, Jakub is an avid sports enthusiast engaging in activities from tennis to freeride skiing.
