David specializes in consortium coordination, working closely with international partners such as research institutions, SMEs, and public entities to foster collaboration and effective communication.
He brings a robust financial oversight capability by developing and managing project budgets, tracking expenditures, and ensuring financial reporting adheres to EU funding requirements. David is also responsible for compliance and comprehensive reporting to EU bodies and project stakeholders. His proactive risk management approach identifies potential risks to project timelines and budgets, enabling effective mitigation strategies to maintain momentum.
David contributes to Sploro’s innovation strategy by identifying new funding opportunities and supporting proposal writing for future EU projects.
Before joining Sploro, David spent six years at PwC, where he specialized in managing European funds, including Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe, gaining deep expertise in external auditing and EU R&D fund management.
His extensive knowledge of EU funding programs, combined with hands-on project management experience, makes him an important guide in navigating the complexities of European grant landscape.
