David Achim is the Executive Director of Make IT in Oradea, a non-profit initiative aimed at transforming Oradea into a premier destination for tech founders in Central and Eastern Europe.
With a passion for startups, innovation, entrepreneurship, digital marketing, and education, David focuses on building strong teams and vibrant communities to create impactful initiatives within the local tech ecosystem.
David has a background in business administration from Griffiths School of Management and extensive experience in entrepreneurship and mentoring startups. Under his leadership, Make IT in Oradea supports local tech startups by providing mentorship, funding, and educational scholarships to students pursuing technology curricula. The initiative also promotes a favorable environment for IT&C companies through incentives, aiming to attract and retain talent and stimulate economic growth in the region.
Known for his dedication to fostering growth and potential in people, David is also an amateur classical guitarist, sports fan, and enthusiastic football player.
