Daniela is the executive director of ROPEA (the Romanian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association) and a board member at Patria Bank and BID. A veteran finance leader, she advocates for policy and regulatory frameworks that channel institutional capital into CEE venture markets.
Daniela began her career at PwC Romania coordinating financial advisory services before transitioning into private equity and venture capital. She managed fund investments for the Balkan Accession Fund and Emerging Europe Accession Fund, later serving as CEO of Patria Bank.
At ROPEA, Daniela leads strategic initiatives to expand private equity and VC activity across Romania. She works with fund managers and policymakers to develop regulatory pathways and increase institutional liquidity for high-growth tech ventures.
