Daniela Iliescu is the Executive Director of ROPEA (Romanian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association), the independent non-profit organization representing the interests of the Romanian PE and VC industry.
With a strong background in finance and investment, Daniela is dedicated to strengthening the role of private equity and venture capital as drivers of growth in Romania’s economy.
At ROPEA, she leads initiatives that interconnect the investment community, improve awareness of the sector, and widen access to capital for high-potential businesses. Under her leadership, the association works closely with funds, investors, and policymakers to highlight the positive impact of private equity and venture capital on innovation, job creation, and long-term competitiveness.
Daniela is committed to fostering collaboration across the ecosystem and ensuring that private equity and venture capital continue to play a transformative role in supporting Romania’s entrepreneurs and scaling companies.
