Avinav is a product builder and entrepreneur with more than 18 years of experience spanning engineering, management consulting, business development and technology product development.
Over the past ten years, he has focused on building zero-to-one products at the intersection of artificial intelligence, computer vision and human-computer interaction.
At Meta AI, Avinav led mixed reality, computer vision and agentic AI products, including helping develop the mixed reality stack for Quest devices and working on agentic AI experiences for smart glasses. Prior to that, he'd built machine learning, search and personalisation products at Zalando and Carrefour, and had served as Head of Product at Door2door a mobility company.
Avinav is particularly interested in the intersection of AI, physical-world intelligence and healthcare, and in building technology that augments human expertise rather than simply replacing it.
