Akis Bratsos is a Partner at Lakestar, one of Europe’s leading venture capital firms, where he focuses on investment opportunities in automation, infrastructure software, and healthcare.
He is actively involved in sourcing and evaluating startups across the UK and Europe, and works closely with Lakestar portfolio companies to shape their go-to-market and scaling strategies.
Since joining Lakestar, Akis has been involved in investments in companies including Accurx, Ambar, Colossyan, Fuse Energy, Loci (acquired by Epic Games), Matta, Murphy, Neko Health, Nelly, Public.com, and Rhino. He also leads Lakestar’s Executive in Residence Programme, which connects experienced operators with portfolio founders to support them through growth and expansion.
Lakestar, founded in 2012, has raised over $2.5 billion and invested in some of Europe’s most recognized technology companies, including Revolut, Spotify, GetYourGuide, and Isar Aerospace. Within this platform, Akis plays a central role in helping identify the next generation of category-defining companies and providing the operational expertise to accelerate their success.
