How to Web 2014: First speakers

You may not know this, but preparations for How to Web start early in the year, even though the conference itself happens in November. And the thing we always start with is looking for the best speakers around the world that bring knowledge, experience and meaningful advice to the table.It’s not just about bringing big names, but also making sure that our speakers’ experience and background are relevant to what you need.

Yesterday we announced the first 3 speakers and little by little, we’ll complete the list of world renowned experts and entrepreneurs who you’ll have the chance to meet at How to Web Conference this year. This November, we really want to help get to know our guests, whose stories, struggles and successes could be your own.

How to Web 2014: New Beginnings

This year will be the fifth edition of the How to Web Conference, a milestone that challenges us to raise the bar even higher for this event. The tech ecosystem in the region has grown and matured a lot in the past 5 years, but there’s plenty of work left to be done. We plan on contributing to a greater extent by enhancing the conference’s format, by bringing in tech specialists and entrepreneurs whose experience is most relevant to the region and by adding new topics dedicated to specific categories of the audience.

How to Web MVP Academy – the first co-hort

It’s been an intense summer for the MVP Academy finalists, who have graduated on July 22 from the first edition of the pre-acceleration program. This first cohort of How to Web MVP Academy brought together 14 promising startups in the region, providing them with valuable workshops and mentoring sessions that unfurled during the 2 months of the program.

On July 2nd, the MVP Academy teams came to TechHub Bucharest, and had a few days to start preparing for the fast paced experience that was ahead of them.
